What if... Then What?

Abolish agencies that enforce laws, expand "sanctuary states" that allow lawlessness and zero consequences, and abolish the Supreme Court because we don't need one. Then what? Do we really want our country to disappear as we know it and be run by self-proclaimed intellectual elitists who already think the rest of us are too stupid to govern without them?

When I was growing up, people wanted to put their best foot forward, make that good first impression, and forever want other people to think the best of them. In that day, if someone had a tantrum and acted against common rules of courtesy toward others, that person would apologize for being offensive and do everything to get back into social graces.

Today, people don’t have to be angry or frustrated to say offensive things; they just believe it is an acceptable social skill to not only sound stupid, but to brag about how stupid they are. In my day, I would be embarrassed for people to think I was such an idiot that I would act like an idiot in public. Today, it is completely acceptable, encouraged, and even praised by others who demonstrate an equal level of disregard for others.

Take a moment and think through this thought with me. What if ICE was actually abolished? There are people in Congress suggesting this law enforcement agency should be eliminated because the agency enforces the law that Congress promulgated. For a person to suggest that ICE has veered from its mission simply and yet publicly shows that person’s level of stupidity. The agency is right on mission, engaged in activities that the law has empowered it to do.

I worked for a company that had a policy – that being the company’s law, if you will – that over time became “outdated” and people were beginning to ignore it. A really smart boss commented that we had the authority to change the policy if we thought it was bad, but had to follow it as long as it was in place.

Congress passed an immigration law that included the formation of ICE and gave that agency authority to enforce the law. If Congress believes we have outlived the law in its current state, Congress has the authority to change it. To suggest the agency should not follow the law, not uphold its mission and authority given it by Congress, simply shows how stupid these people really are.

What if our borders are never secured and, according to current leftist thought, remain free and open, would we still be a legitimate country? With those free and open borders, what if we continue to allow states across the country to be “sanctuary” states so no person for any reason could be held accountable for breaking the law? What would our country look like in just five years? What if those free and open borders with sanctuary states of protection actually existed? Who would be running this country and what would it look like?

Communist countries have the so-called, self-proclaimed intellectual elitists in power.  The people are oppressed with no hope and no future.  The elitists in power have all the power, all the wealth, and they rape the country into absolute poverty. Is that what you want America to become? It will, if we continue down this path of stupid.
