The Minneosta Vikings is heading to New Orleans for Sunday's wild card with a decimated corner back crew due to injuries. While 40-year-old Drew Brees' plays for possibly his last ride to the Super Bowl.

It's a rivalry pair that sparks nostalgia, featuring the Minneapolis Miracle in 2018 when quarterback Case Keenum marveled fans by sending Stefon Diggs the ball with only 10 seconds left. Diggs witnesses two Saints defenders clash, Diggs turns, using his arm to push upright and into the end zone Diggs goes for the 29-24 win.

There's no doubt those memories linger for Drew Brees, the 40-year-old quarterback who is clearly looking for the final spotlight of his career and he's proving it by throwing 15 touchdowns in December and zero interceptions. Brees finished the regular season with a No. 2 passer rating of 116.3 just under Ryan Tannehill.

Kirk Cousins isn't far behind, he's No. 4 in passer ratings. With fully charged and rested offensive starters finally available, Cousins could play his best game of the season on Sunday. But the trouble begins with the Vikings defense. Vikes announced corner Mike Hughes was placed on IR with a neck injury and Mackensie Alexander is out due to a knee injury. We all know Xavier Rhode's struggled this season too, putting the Vikes in a bad spot to face Drew Brees and Micheal Thomas.

Thomas led the NFL with 149 catches and 1,725 yards. While Saints are favored to win, don't forget, the Vikings have covered 5 of their past 6 trips to New Orleans and are 3-1 in the playoffs against the Saints.
