You Get A Quarterback! And You Get A Quarterback! And You Get A Quarterback! The night was filled with prosperous athletes & their dreams coming true.

The 2021 NFL Draft was last night and despite still being in a pandemic, the draft went on as usual. Some athletes remained at home with family and friends while others brought their relatives along to Cleveland. And like always, Commissioner Roger Goodell got his usual boos from the crowd.

Trevor Larence, who looks like the male version of Tom Brady’s wife, got 1st  pick from the Jaguars. Not much of a surprise, he’s got good arm strength and he’s steady. But that wasn’t the only thing announced when his name got called. Turns out, last month he married his high school sweetheart at only 21.

Next in line came the Jets who got a new quarterback everyone is definitely excited about. Pretty boy Zach Wilson is probably the most famous player to come out of BYU. His physical appearance may be deceiving, he weighs in at around 214lbs and stands tall at 6’2. His career really took off last year.

The quarterback trend continued as San Francisco drafted Trey Lance. This is also the third time in the common era for three quarterbacks to get picked in a row.

The Falcons broke the thread when they picked arguably one of the best players in the draft, Kyle Pitts, as their tight end. At 6’6 & with a wingspan of 83+ inches, he’s referred to as a "unicorn," very special and unique. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the Hall of Fame.

Skipping down to the Dolphins, who got 6th pick, they went with wide receiver, Jaylen Waddle. Definitely not a bad pick at all, he averages more than 44 yards a catch and he pretty much knows how to get out of any situation. In his sit down, his bubbly personality came out when mentioning his favriote players, as well as his love for criminal justice and oh right, Hannah Montana! Waddle was not shy to admit his long-time crush on Miley Cyrus.

The Broncos got 9th pick and decided to go with Patrick Surtain II, not to be confused with his father who played cornerback for 12 years between the Chiefs & Dolphins. At 208 lbs and 6’2, you would think the team made a good decision. He plays with confidence and has patience.

However, it seems like fans were expecting a quarterback, not a cornerback. Though there are rumors circulating that Aaron Rodgers could be on his way over, so who knows?

It seems like the Cowboys gave the Eagles 10th pick, since the Broncos got to Surtain first, which allowed them to snag DeVonta Smith.

The night went on with many more bright young athletes getting drafted. But someone who was patiently waiting with the cameras on him was Mac Jones. The quarterback and former child model's time came at the 15th pick when the Patriots drafted him. Let’s be real, Belichick knew what he was doing here. Jones has good ability with processing, he’ll fit in just fine in New England!
