Random thoughts on the passing scene.
There are rumors President Joe Biden is not up to running for re-election in 2024. C’mon man, Biden is currently not up to running the country.
If only President Biden was as enthusiastic about supporting America as he is about supporting Ukraine in its war against Russian invaders.
President Theodore Roosevelt subscribed to a “speak softly and carry a big stick” philosophy. Unfortunately, President Biden is more of a speak haltingly and carry a limp [rhymes with “stick”] kinda guy.
Republican Nikki Haley’s announced presidential run has afforded progressives the opportunity to again show the ridiculous lengths they will go to in order to see racism anywhere and everywhere, except – of course – in their own harsh judgments of conservatives based on race.
Most Americans do not – to the chagrin of identity-obsessed progressives – fret over race, instead viewing race as incidental to the totality of a person. Emily Kohrs is living proof that Valley Girl-esque vapidity is no impediment to serving on a grand jury.
Researchers at the University of Leeds have recommended that government engage in World War II-style rationing to fight climate change. Eff these zealots who think they know best how to run other people’s lives and would use the power of government – under the guise of saving the planet, of course – to make it so.
Irony is Democrats on the House Judiciary subcommittee criticizing journalists for reporting on pre-Elon Musk-owned Twitter working hand-in-glove with government to promote progressive narratives and suppress conservative narratives.
Shouting down your ideological opponents or otherwise preventing them from speaking is a de facto admission you have no confidence in your own point of view.

The Seattle Times recently ran a story headlined “What’s the ‘state of the city’ of Seattle? It’s on the edge of its seat.” The answer to the question is “sorry.”
It is reassuring to know people like J.K. Rowling and Ben Stiller are standing up to the all-too-often ill-informed and humorless buzzkills who make up the censorious woke mob.
Researchers inventing a liquid metal robot that can shapeshift like the T-1000 cyborg in “Terminator II: Judgment Day” means SkyNet is that much closer to sentience in the real world, as opposed to being confined to the reel world.
Women’s groups and feminists upset over Tiger Woods’ tampon prank on fellow golfer Justin Thomas should lighten up. After all, it was just a joke – period.
