Lucifer Season 5B is finally here and I've already binged the whole season. Spoilers ahead!

Lucifer Morningstar is finally back on our screens and blessing us with new Lucifer content. With the premier of Lucifer Season 5B this Friday, I have so many thoughts and emotions towards my all-time favorite show. From Season 1 to now, this show has yet to disappoint me. With the whirlwind of emotions and character growth, I just don't see how anyone could not like this show. From the comedy to the drama that left me in tears, this show has everything and more.

Starting off with Episode 9, viewers are thrown in exactly where we left off with the arrival of God. The character of God is exactly how I expected him to be, nothing short of what I could conjure in my imagination. Although there was that frightening scene where God explodes Dan and then puts him back together... That's a little traumatic to say the least.

But when thinking about relationships in the show, Chloe Decker and Lucifer's relationship is the heart of it all. Their relationship has evolved so much over five seasons that it's sometimes hard to remember that Chloe once found Lucifer repulsive "on a chemical level."

It's nice to finally see them together as a couple. We get to see what Chloe's life is like dating the devil, while also exploring what love is and what that means for someone like Lucifer, someone who fears that he is incapable of love for the sole fact that his father, God, never told Lucifer that he was loved.

But let's talk about that insane ending! Michael versus Lucifer--fight to the death. Who will win? Well, obviously our main man Lucifer is going to find some way to win, even if it isn't intentional. Once Chloe is stabbed by Michael and dies, Lucifer stops at nothing to get her back. Knowing he is banished from Heaven and that he would die the moment he returned, he still goes in order to bring Chloe back to her life and to those who love and care about her. Even though he knows it will kill him, he doesn't care. But when he slips that ring on her finger, I about die myself. The curious thing is he puts his ring on her finger and then says, "I choose you because I love you."

Now I could sit here and contemplate what that means, but I'd run over my word count. But that won't stop me from hearing "Deckerstar" wedding bells in the distance, especially after Lucifer refers to Chloe as his Mrs. G in his efforts to become God himself. By the way, this is totally in character for Lucifer to decide that he wants to be God after God announces that he is retiring. With all that being said, I cannot wait for Season 6 and what the writers have in store for us.
