I decided to go down memory lane and watch a Korean drama on Netflix. I haven't watched a K-drama in so long but I am happy I did!

When I first dove into the world of anime back in middle school, I was introduced to many new shows and movies. And I fell in love with all of them from Howl's Moving Castle to "Itazura Na Kiss."

Recently, however, I've decided to check out the many Korean dramas Netflix has to offer. I'm more of a romantic-comedy and slice-of-life kind of person so what caught my eye was a two-season show called "My First First Love." And I'm so happy I picked this one!

The drama revolves around a group of young people in their twenties exploring what life has to offer all the while fiddling with romance. The overall focus is on relationships, twists and turns, and personal backstories. From the very beginning, I was invested in the lives of all five characters. You're immediately immersed in their lives that you see a little bit of yourself in them.

We follow the lives of Yun Tae-o and his friends, who move into his house due to unexpected personal reasons. There is Han Song-i who is childhood friends with Tae-o who ends up homeless as her mother moves away and purposely loses contact with her. Then there's Seo Do-hyeon who is also a friend of Tae-o's and unexpectedly meets Song-i when he is at her house packing her things. Choe Hun, another friend of Tae-o, gets kicked out of his house by his father and decides to go to Tae-o's place with no other options. And finally, there's O Ga-rin, a wealthy young woman who's planned on leaving home for a while with intentions of visiting Tae-o as their families knew one another.

I'm not giving away too many details because you should definitely check out the series for yourself! It's a simple coming of age series that focuses on relationships with the troubles of growing up. You'll surely root for these characters and feel the sense of coziness surrounded by this group of friends that love one another through thick and thin.
