I Am the Majority

America is at a crossroads. The majority has become the silent majority and in the process, is at risk of losing fundamental rights while the rule of law is ignored. There is a need for the majority to speak up and exercise Constitutional rights before those rights are lost.
In a recent meeting in Greensboro, NC, regarding whether an annual gun show should be allowed to occur this year, a resident of the city made a statement that has, in effect, become a war cry equal to, “Remember the Alamo.”
Mark Robinson, a Greensboro resident, asked when people were going to start protecting the rights of the majority, the law-abiding citizens, and start placing responsibility for actions at the feet of those who commit those actions.
Government is to protect the rights of all Americans and those rights trump anything held by any individual who wants his or her own way while trampling on the rights of the whole.
Where is the accountability on those who do not represent the rights of the whole? Where is the responsibility of elected officials who are to protect those rights? Where is the outrage of Americans – the majority – who allow elected officials, judges and illegal aliens to decide what the rest of Americans will lose?
A rogue judge rules against the Constitutional right of a President to use his authority to protect the national interests of the citizens and country for the sake of the judge’s personal agenda. Congress allowed a previous president to sign executive orders that exceeded his authority and defied the protection of rights for the majority.
What happened to “checks and balances” between the three governing bodies, as described in the Constitution? What happens when extremes are uncovered? Nothing, except for some whining. It is ignored, condoned, accepted by all and even encouraged.
Mark Robinson is right. The majority of Americans are tired of getting screwed while officials refuse to exercise or follow the rule of law. I cannot believe that we have discussions from one branch of government stating that a decision is outside of the rule of law and then state the only recourse is to hope those elected officials get voted out at some off-in-the-distance election. Why are there no checks and balances?
We are at a crossroads in America. It is time to return to our founding principles, protect the rights of the whole, follow the rule of law, and follow the Constitution of the United States of America.
Americans have the right to not just own, but to bear arms. Illegal criminals do not have that right. Americans have the right to be protected against foreign and domestic threats, including having a secure border.
Americans have the right to free speech that is civil and not be told that a perverted, trash-mouth nobody has an equal right to publicly and offensively rant while calling publicly for the death or assassination of a leader. There used to be fall-out when a person threatened any official, including the President. Now it is just prime time TV.
We don’t have a swamp in Washington, DC. We are an expanding sewer throughout America. It’s time the majority gets the honey truck and pumps it all out. It is our right!
