In Polson, Montana, a grandmother named Patti Baumgartner has given traffic speeders in her neighborhood something to think about. Trying to get drivers to slow down and taking matters into her own hands, she's chosen to deal with these speeders in an innovative, if not funny, way.

So if you were cruising along and suddenly saw someone like this pointing a hair dryer at your speeding vehicle -- looking very much like a law enforcement speed gun -- would you slow down? Man, this motorist sure would.

But this is hilarious.

And what a great idea.

The Montana State Troopers apparently thought so as well, giving Baumgartner "an honorary state trooper title," complete with an official-looking hat and "sticker badge."
