Do People Change?

Two cars parked in the middle of a four lane highway, and their doors were left wide open.

I thought that people who go up in the snow country have changed, but it seems not—example: We were traveling near a place called Little Sweden, when, for some reason, the traffic slowed to a stop.

Slowly, we moved forward, until we were ready to pass the reason why the traffic stopped:Two cars parked in the middle of the four lane highway with their doors wide open, and no one was around.

You could see where skis and winter items were taken out off the car, and some items were dropped near the car.

In other words, the people who owned the cars stopped in the middle of the highway and jumped out to play. Instead of parking along side of the highway, they parked in the middle of the freeway and started to play in snow.

Would you do this on Highway 101 in San Francisco? Then why do it in snow country?

By watching people playing in the snow, you wonder if they left their brains at home by the way they act.

As an example, a family parked their car, got out two flying saucers, skis, a toboggan and food. They carried the items up the ski run that people were coming down.

They were so excited about being in the snow that they did not pay attention to their surroundings, because they dropped every thing in the middle of the ski run and sat down.

In a few minutes they were eating. Finally, they realized that they were in the middle of the ski run, and got up and moved to the side of the run.

This problem in snow country has been going on for years; after a while you would think it would stop but it hasn’t. It seems like over the years people who come up into snow country have not changed.

Therefore, drive and think what you'redoing when you are in snow country, because many people are not.
