Dennis Rodman showed up in Singapore during the historical meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un. Could he have been more involved in this movement toward peace? I think it is possible.

When I was a kid, Dennis Rodman was my favorite Chicago Bull. It maybe hard to believe that a conservative like me would like him. Back then, I would watch the games with my brothers. I think I had a little crush on Rodman. I thought he was definitely better looking than Michael Jordan.

I knew nothing of Rodman’s crazy antics of trying to marry himself and all those other strange things he did for attention back in the 1990’s. I liked how he played basketball.

Years ago when the media was going crazy over his first trip to North Korea to visit Kim Jong Un, I figured the guy liked the way he Rodman played basketball as well and wanted to meet him. As time went on and Rodman continued his friendship with Kim, I, like many others thought he was just trying to get attention.

However, it seems to me with his sudden appearance in Singapore in support of both the Korean leader and our President, Donald Trump, who he is also friends with, there may be more to Rodman’s friendship with the Korean leader than meets the eye.

He probably helped Trump smooth things over with Kim. He probably was invited personally by both leaders. I have no proof, only guessing. But I do know that neither leader would make it known to the media. Why would they? With Rodman comes all that strange stuff he has done. No one wants to explain that, however, he seems like a man for peace and prosperity. I, for one, commend him for caring and supporting both leaders.
