Democrats’ Impeachment Gambit Extremely Questionable

A number of follow-up queries suggest the donkey party’s case is anorexic.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi finally caved to the uber left-wing of the Democratic Party, launching an impeachment inquiry based on President Trump’s recent phone call with the president of Ukraine – an inquiry that raises more questions than answers:

* Given that plenty of people were listening in on President Trump’s call to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, isn’t it odd that the “whistleblower” complaint didn’t come from any of those people, but from someone with little to no first-hand knowledge of the call?

* Is everybody in the impeach Trump crowd going to ignore that Zelensky publicly stated he was not pressured to investigate the Biden family during his summer phone call with Trump?

* Were Rep. Adam Schiff’s opening remarks at a recent House Intelligence Committee hearing – in which he made up quotes not contained in the phone transcript between Trump and Zelensky and later had to essentially say, “Just kidding!” – the best way to establish the legitimacy of the inquiry?

* Does Schiff’s receiving the “whistleblower” complaint in early August, but not reporting it until the latter part of September, explain why Pelosi launched the impeachment inquiry without having read, by her own admission, the transcript?

* Is it at all suspicious that the “whistleblower” complaint reads like it was written by a lawyer or team of lawyers?

* Do Democrats have the courage of their convictions, given Pelosi has so far forgone a full House vote to authorize an impeachment inquiry?

* From getting initial breathless claims of an explicit quid pro quo wrong to manipulating their reporting on the transcript to make Trump come across as a mob boss, how pathetic has the mainstream media’s coverage of this story been?

* Is there even any point in denying the mainstream media is a de facto arm of the Democratic Party?

* Is it starting to look like this impeachment effort is more choreographed than a pro wrestling match?

* What are the odds Democrats have fast-tracked impeachment to get it over and done with – though it’s unlikely they’ll ever get a conviction in the Senate – so they can use the phrase “impeached president” when referring to Trump during the 2020 campaign for the White House?

* How hilarious will it be if Democrats’ impeachment efforts end up dooming Joe Biden’s presidential aspirations?

* Isn’t it obvious this impeachment stunt is really all about Democrats’ refusal to accept the fact Trump bested Hillary Clinton at the ballot box in November 2016?

* Have Democrats learned nothing from the GOP’s overreach in impeaching President Bill Clinton in 1998?

* Would today’s Democrats have subjected President John F. Kennedy to an impeachment inquiry for conducting secret negotiations with the Soviet Union – including a quid pro quo – to end the Cuban missile crisis?
