Did Dwayne Dixon Effectively Kill Heather Heyer?

You're driving down a side street when suddenly, a total stranger starts running after you with an AR-15 rifle. Quick, what do you do?

As a driver faced with such a scenario, would you stop and ask to see the gunman's AR-15 carry permit? Would you ask if the AR-15 rifle was loaded? Engage that person in a debate on the Second Amendment?

Or would you basically panic, and speed away, trying to avoid getting killed?

One year ago on August 12, 2017 in Charlottesville, VA -- during a political speech gathering supported by a legal permit -- brandishing an AR-15, Dwayne Dixon chased the terrified driver of this car.

Dixon is, or used to be if he hasn't been fired, a University of North Carolina anthropology professor.

Openly bragging on his Facebook page soon after Charlottesville, Dixon admitted to taking "perverse pleasure" in using "this rifle to chase off" a driver in Charlottesville "from our block of 4th St."

"This Rifle": Dixon's AR-15

As the car sped away in fear from the open attack by Dixon and his AR-15, Heather Heyer was killed.

No longer boastfully bragging and quite understandably, Dixon has deleted his Facebook page which had contained the gloating comments, or set it to private; seemingly the actions of a liable party.

And also not surprisingly, Dixon is the leader and ideologue-in-chief of an association of Antifa -- who had "lawlessly" failed to secure a legal permit to gather in Charlottesville -- the group whose flag bears a striking and creepy resemblance to a Communist symbol of the 1930s.
