Here is to putting good vibes into the universe after graduation.

Seniors, COVID-19 has made the simplest of an academic task even more stressful. But here we are, we've almost made it! We are finally about to put on that cap and gown and walk across the stage and off into the great unknown.

With all that excitement there is a little terror for some of us. What happens next? Where is that dream job? Paying back student loans? Yikes! But even with that uncertainty, there is still a reason to celebrate.

All that hard work has paid off and now your friends and family get to watch you watch walk across that stage. They get to watch as your years and years of hard work finally pay off. The moment you step off that stage begins the next chapter of your life. Let's make it count.

With all the uncertainty surrounding graduation, it's hard to imagine where you will be in even just six months' time. I get asked a lot about where I see myself in six months. Well, "I don't know" is the simple answer. There are so many opportunities out there in the world, you just have to go and find them. But that's also the scary part, isn't it? So many opportunities, so many qualified people for those jobs, so where do I fit into that? Well, that is not exactly an easy question to answer.

I think that with graduating you just have to be confident of your ability to make things work in your favor. You have to put things out into the world so that they come to fruition. That is something my best friend and I do. If we want something to happen we put it into the universe. While that may seem childish and ineffective, it has yet to disappoint.

So put something good out into the world after graduation! You will get that job. You will get that internship. You will get a good job with good benefits. Whatever it may be, graduates, put it out there! You never know what might happen.

In saying all of this, I hope you take away something good. Something that lets you know that whatever fears you may have about life after graduation, you are not alone. Countless other people feel the exact same way that you and I might. So, let us take comfort in that, and in one another. Put something into the universe, you never know what could come from it.
