This year, it seems, the English teams proved to be more hungry for the major European soccer tournaments than those from Spain, Germany and France. Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will be facing off in the UEFA Champions League finals. Liverpool made a miraculous comeback, in their 2nd leg against Spanish giants Barcelona, in a 4-0 win. This was a big victory since Liverpool had lost to Barcelona in their 1st leg. On the other side, Tottenham Hotspur also made it through to the finals after beating Ajjax from the Netherlands.

Arsenal and Chelsea will also be facing off in the Europa League, and if Arsenal wins, they will get a chance to play in the 2019-2020 UEFA Champions League. Well, the teams might fight each other for the top six positions in the English Premier League, but it looks like they are also fighting to bring the major tournament trophies to England.
