I just read that the youngest Kardashian daughter is pregnant at 20. Her current boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott, whom she allegedly has only been dating for a brief time, is the dad.

You know, it was almost uplifting to see that other women are actually being supportive of this young soon-to-be mom. Jenner is a member of the Kardashian clan and a business mogul in her own right -- with cosmetic labels: Kylie Lip Kit and Kylie Cosmetics with sales through the ceiling.

Now, I’m sure I’m unlikely to meet Ms. Jenner or any of her family members, but I must say it's refreshing to see that strangers have the capacity to be kind on social media. SO much of it is pure hatred and cowardly responses to events in other people’s lives.

It's easier for people to be vindictive on a social media platform because they can stay anonymous if they choose to be. You can always plug in a fake name and photo -- be anyone or anything you want to be. There is just no accountability or paper trail to your true identity.

I am sickened by the cruel comments I read on Twitter, Facebook and the like. How low can you go?!! I hope that the First Lady, Melania Trump will do some real work on this issue, as she has promised. We need to shed more light on the potentially life-threatening outcomes of cyber-bullying — it can and has caused suicides and it is simply unacceptable.

Many 20-year-old women get pregnant. That's not what's unusual about this story. What I feel is different is the amount of positive feedback Ms. Jenner has received. I would hope this transfers to comments the ‘average person’ receives on social media, not only to celebrities who have endless resources at their fingertips to get mental health care or hire an attorney, if need be, to right wrongs….
