2019 is going to be a year stuffed with blockbuster features for movie-goers--so many, that viewers may not be able to keep up with everything coming out during the spring and summer seasons. Sometimes, it's nice to have someone remind us of what we're missing. With that being said, here's a rundown for movies coming to the silver screen in 2019. Enjoy!

Hope everybody had wonderful Christmas and New Years!

Now going into this new year, I would like to run down the anticipated blockbuster movies of the upcoming 2019 one more time. This upcoming year will be full of action-packed blockbusters, charming family-friendly features, and creepy sci-fi thrillers--so I won't have enough time in this post to cover all of them. So for now, I will do a quick synopsis of 2019's biggest theatrical features.

Glass

Directed by M. Night Shyamalan, Glass brings together the return of Bruce Willis as David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, known as Mr. Glass, from Shyamalan's 2000's Unbreakable--with the addition of James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb and all of his split personalities from the 2016 feature, Split. Rounding out the cast is Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story: Apocalypse) as a therapist tasked with treating the three about their "beliefs" that they are more than human. Released by Universal Pictures, Glass will be in theaters January 18, 2019.

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

Following the success of its' predecessor, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part revisits the characters of Bricksburg five years later after the events in The Lego Movie, and introduces us to a new enemy, Lego Duplo space invaders!! The new threat will take Emmet (Chris Pratt), Lucy (Elizabeth Banks), Batman (Will Arnett), Unikitty (Alison Brie) and all of their friends to new sets all across the universe as they try to bring balance back to their "normal" lives. Written and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie), The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part comes to theaters on February 8, 2019.

Captain Marvel

One of the most anticipated Marvel features of 2019, Captain Marvel tells the story of Carol Danvers, a United States Air Force Officer who suffers amnesia after surviving a jet-fighter crash and is taken in by an alien race known as the Kree--who give her superhuman powers to help aid them in an intergalatic war against another alien race, the shape-shifting Skrulls. Directed by Anna Bodek and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel flies and blasts her way into theaters on March 8, 2019.

Avengers: Endgame

The biggest and most anticipated movie of 2019 (comic or otherwise), Avengers:Endgame closes the chapter on the events from 2018's Infinity War and brings the return of Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlet Johansson), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) together one last time for what may be their last chance to save the universe from the aftermath caused by Thanos (Josh Brolin) and his use of the Infinity Stones. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame comes to theaters on April 26, 2019.

That's it for now, folks. In the next post, I'll preview Battle Angel Alita, How To Train Your Dragon, Shazam!, Hellboy, Dumbo

Until next time, entertainment fans!!...
