Feverish reader, writer, and scientist. I spend most of my morning working diagnosing and treating cancer at a local hospital, most of my nights reading and writing at a local coffee shop, and most of my free time examining my choices and deciding if I am happy with where they have taken me.
"An unexamined life is not worth living" - Socrates
But does that make an examined life inherently worth living? Should we examine everything in our lives? I'm not sure, but I will side on the answer of yes.
As we examine we also discover but we also define and I hope you will learn that you as discover and define, you will rediscover and redefine yourself. This is the true value of reading. As you read, you are looking into someone else's examination of their own lives, or the lives of others. By extension, it forces you to examine your own. I hope my writings then guide you to books that will help you with your defining and discovering.
