BIOGRAPHY
Ellen Levitt is a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, New York. A veteran teacher, writer and photographer, she has to her credit six published books including the series The Lost Synagogues of New York City (Avotaynu) and Walking Manhattan (Wilderness Press). Her freelance written pieces and photographs have appeared in the New York Times, New York Daily News, Writers Weekly, the Brooklyn Eagle, Grok Nation, and several other online and in-print publications. She also leads walking and biking tours around New York City. She and her family love the Mets AND the Yankees.
