Often, media bias is expressed by what is NOT reported.

If a big study comes out that says climate change is going to get us, left-leaning media will jump all over it.  Conservative media will act as if nothing just happened.

It works both ways, of course.

If you watch CNN or MSNBC, you hardly ever hear of Hunter Biden, who is rumored to be involved in drugs, women, tax evasion, sleazy (but very lucrative) oil deals in China and Ukraine -- obviously because of his family connections -- and more. 

But if you watch FOX, you'll see pictures of a very blasted Hunter Biden, with stories implying Daddy Joe -- our president -- is in on the take, especially when it comes to the oil deals.

One story flying around FOX right now reports that when President Biden released oil from America's Strategic Reserve -- a recent attempt to keep prices down at the pump -- a million barrels of this oil got sold to a Chinese oil company Hunter Biden has an interest in. 

Talk about bad optics.

Hunter Biden conducts art showings of what are said to be very mediocre paintings (by Hunter Biden), and Democratic insiders show up in droves to pay hundreds of thousands a pop.  Nice work if you can get it.

Republicans will investigate Hunter Biden if they retake the House, we're told. 

One does have to wonder why left-leaning media outlets are going so easy on Hunter Biden. If this were Ivanka Trump or Donald Trump, Jr. or Eric Trump, there would be screaming headlines -- as there were about the Trump children (at least from the liberal media). 

But stories that get buried by one side or the other sometimes have a way of turning out to be true. Drudge Report revealed rumors of Bill Clinton fooling around with Monica Lewinsky, but left-leaning media outlets didn't pay attention for quite some time.  Then they had to. Watergate started off as a story about a minor burglary.

Maybe Hunter Biden and his laptop from hell will finally go mainstream, we'll see. Where there's this much smoke, it would be surprising if there weren't at least a little fire, as well.
