On a recent TikTok post that has gotten nearly 3 million views, Spencer Pratt, 39,  of the reality show 'The Hills' had this to say about who is the rudest celebrity he's met: “Oh, that’s easy. Phoebe from Friends. Hands down, one of the worst humans I’ve ever come in contact with, by far.” I was shocked!

Lisa Kudrow is known worldwide as the highly likable character Phoebe Buffay on Friends, a roommate in a housing situation too close for comfort. The actress and comedian, now 59, began her career nearly 40 years ago. Kudrow was on Friends from 1994-2004 and received Screen Actors' Guild and Primetime Emmy Awards for her work. Her friendship with Jennifer Aniston has spanned decades. The star is a graduate of Vassar College and, from interviews, appears to be articulate, very pleasant, and personable. Her most recent film, a musical comedy, Better Nate than Ever, was released in 2022, and she is working on a new project, The Parenting, with a release date TBA. Then what happened with Pratt?

Initially, he would not spill the tea. Pratt announced that when his TikTok received a million views, he would reveal details of the alleged nasty interaction. He finally elaborated. 

Pratt said that he labeled the beloved Kudrow as the 'rudest celebrity' he knows from an incident of thirteen years ago. He and his wife Heidi Montag, who underwent a major cosmetic makeover that she openly talked about on The Hills, were invited to an 'A-list' party where Kudrow was a guest. 

According to Yahoo News, Spencer said, “It was almost like we were filming for Punk’d and a camera was going to pop up, but Heidi and I didn’t care as there was delicious food and an open bar. As we were sitting there consuming a little caviar, Phoebe [Lisa] approaches, which was a little shocking as no one had spoken to us at all at the party.”

Pratt went on to say that Kudrow told his young wife Heidi that she should get away from him because he might kill her. Allegedly, Lisa told Heidi that Spencer had 'the eyes of a serial killer.' 

He said that Heidi thought it might be a joke and waited for the established actress to laugh. Since Kudrow did not, Pratt said he took her comments seriously. Really?! I think (and I don't have inside information) that this was a case of dark humor that was meant as a joke. If Lisa Kudrow truly felt that Spencer Pratt could be a serial killer, I doubt she would have approached him. Lighten up, Spencer. Lisa Kudrow is a comedian, after all. And by his admission, no one else bothered to talk to them. Kudrow took the time.

I'm on team Kudrow for this one. I refuse to believe that Lisa Kudrow would be intentionally rude to anyone. Chemistry and perception always affect interactions between regular and famous folks.  As for Pratt, he got himself into the headlines.
